The Ways We Play

Children seem to share the love of play across cultural, religious, tribal and political lines.  Even games like “rock, paper, scissors” and “tag” translate.  Here are some scenes of play over the past couple of months.  One of them took place in the ruins of a nearly 2000 year-old-church in a town nearby…dilapidated stone structures are perfect for running, climbing, and establishing “base” in a game of tag.  A little girl living in a refugee tent just up the hill took Caleb under her wing and brought him into the neighborhood tag game.  Beautiful.
