Making Merry

Christmas can come and go here so quickly as there is obviously little note taken in the general community.  And in our home, we found ourselves cycling through illness and some exhausting weeks.  And yet, there were some Christmas miracles to make the time joyful and festive: baking stollen with Caleb while telling about his German Great Grandmother and looking at photos, homemade lanterns and a walking carol time at dusk, a Christmas musical, Christmas Eve time with singing and the Christmas story, Christmas morning spent with local children, and presents lovingly sent by family.  Our neighbors hosted a meal with a beautiful desert.  So many good memories..
