Exploring

A few weeks ago, we had the chance to see a nearby island.  It was a cold week there with some illness and sleepless nights peppered in, but still brought moments of discovery and a sweet (miraculously, really) time as a family.  There was a frigid dip in the Mediterranean, a fun evening with adopted grandparents, a visit to the historically rich north, delicious bakery treats at least daily, a cozy meze meal complete with escargot, and cuddles under blankets on those cold days…
