We’ve had a wonderful Christmas and New Year with Caleb and the community here. We celebrated a quiet Christmas Eve, then woke up to share a breakfast of pancakes with some of our friends here. Later, we joined in the Christmas program at the hospital and had an excellent Christmas dinner with friends to finish the day.

Local Village Children Meeting Caleb
After the new year, we took Caleb out on his first tent visit. We brought a local Bedouin woman and her 1 1/2 year old son home after he stayed in the hospital for a pneumonia, then shared a dinner of rotisserie chicken with pita and hummus.

Besides working on his New Year’s Resolutions, Caleb now fits into his super cool cloth diapers (donated to us by an awesome company– write us if you want to know more) and is rocking “tummy time” (well, sometimes).
